She asked Jesus to turn water into wine and so I was wondering, when she realised her birth control pill had failed and had to tell Joseph the worst lie ever, did she hit the bottle to cope with her life?
And to all those 'Christians' who will now call me names(if this gets posted!) do as you preach forgiveness and all that!

I'll answer you as soon as you show me which verse states Mary was worried about her birth control pill.

God bless.

First off it is very unlikely that Mary was an alcoholic because of her heritage (she was royal). Secondly she was pregnant by Joseph - if she wasn't why would Joseph protect her? (Quite literally if he hadn't of stuck up for her and said he was visited by an angel she would of been stoned to death, or worse made into a common prostitute.) Lastly, why are you asking an derogatory question just to irritate Christians and Catholics? I don't believe Mary was a virgin but I still revere her as a good and holy woman. Have a little respect!!

Do you have a chip on your shoulder??

Jesus turned the water into wine because it was a wedding feast in Cana of Galilee and the wine had run out. Mary wanted to save the day and asked Jesus to help. It was the first miracle.

Believe and you will feel happy.

This is stupid on several levels, but let me address just one.

Mary didn't have Jesus turn the water into wine on her OWN behalf, it was for the wedding guests to drink.

They missed out the bit after she asked Jesus to turn water into wine where she asked him to turn into fortified wine.

Never ceases to amaze me how people can be so ignorant of the plain teachings found in the Bible.

I think she went on a nympho spree with Joseph's brothers while in an alcoholic stupor. How else could a 'virgin' get pregnant?

Ignore him and he will go away - hopefully.
