Hi, I use IE 7.0 on Windows XP.

It is running OK, but IE crashes when I "enable third party extensions" in the Advanced tab of the options menu.

What could the problem be and how do I resolve it?

It might have to do with which third party extensions you're trying to run with IE7. Microsoft has said on many occasions that there are compatibility problems between IE7 and many third party (not Microsoft approved) extensions. These are the extensions Microsoft endorses:

I don't know if this will help but try going into control panel, internet options, advanced tab and clicking on the RESET button, in your "reset internet explorer settings".

Hope this helps, good luck!
