My boyfriend was sick on Sunday and Monday. On Sunday he vomited a couple times, but still ate and was alright otherwise other than a slight tummyache. Then Monday he stayed home and vomited 2 more times. Tuesday he was pretty much fine and he's been fine ever since. He had no diarrhea and a perfect temperature. What do you think this could be? And also, if it was something contagious like a stomach virus, do I still have to be worried about getting it?

It sounds more like a virus to me . There are a lot viral infections in the air right now. Yes you may also get infected. Use good hand washing techniques and make sure you each cover your mouth when coughing.

It sounds like the stomach virus that is going around. I know that lots of people here have had it and it lasts about 2 to 5 days and then the person is fine--just a little weak. If you have not got sick by now then you should not have to worry.

Of course, in close conjunction like this, a family setting, it's going to make the round and, in fact he may get it again. Usually an antibiotic will knock it out.
