Yes. Any curses that involve the Lord's name are of course covered by the Commandment about taking His name in vain, but here is the verse I use to show that all "cussing", "potty language", "dirty jokes", etc. are also wrong.
Ephesians 5:1 Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. 2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.
3 But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints; 4 neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. 5 For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. 6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. 7 Therefore do not be partakers with them.
There are also the verses in Jesus Sermon on the Mount about not even calling someone a fool and not swearing an oath by heaven or anything.
Matthew5:33Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths:
34But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne:
35Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.
36Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.
37But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.
I'm also including a link to my favorite online Bible search engine. If you know a keyword from a verse or even a topic you want to research in the Scriptures, you should be able to find it and look it up in several different translations. This is the Bible study tool I use to help me answer Scripture questions on here as well as for my personal study.

Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
This verse isn’t just about the vocabulary, but also the content of what you are trying to say. We all should try to speak kindly, and use inoffensive language just as a matter of good manners. But since the bible was not written in English, no modern English words are prohibited outright. But it is an issue of the heart no matter what culture you are in.

In Matthew their is a reference to swearing saying that we should not swear. Cursing I feel is a show of ignorance and sometimes just humanity. There are so many other words that could better discribe an emotion. Sin-If your not cursing God, or humans-if your just expressing a frustration (like losing your car keys) then I feel it is just a human expression. Does not sound very nice and unfortunately small children often learn these words way too easily but sin I doubt it.

No, I don't believe that it says we can't curse in the Bible. The only thing we're told not to do is take the name of the lord in vain. However, if you're trying to be a good Christian influence, moderation is suggested.

"Thou shall not take the Lord God's name in vain"
A cuss that uses God's name is wrong at all times.
There are mentions in Proverbs about a fool and his tongue. But I'm always reminded of my granny who said that people who cuss are people who are too ignorant or too lazy to go look up the right word to use in the thesaurus. I have to agree.
Words are powerful things, after all, God created with just a few of them. We should use them powerfully, instead of being weak and cussing every other word.

The words themselves are not bad. It is the intent of the word or what you are meaning them to be that is not good. My sister knows this girl that is all goody goody and has to be perfect and stuff. She won't cuss. She says it's bad and stuff but when something happens she says "OH SUGAR" It's basically the same thing. Because she is meaning the same thing whether she says sugar or ****.
I typed the word but the website blocked it. Ha.

in the Bible we are advised to make our "confident" a "confident" and our "no" a "no". something it is a sin. we are to curse by using no longer something that exists or ever has existed. if your vocabulary is so vulnerable and frail you could desire to apply the remarkable thing approximately vulgarity or different obscenities, you could desire to get a dictionary and study a sparkling word on a daily basis until you could show your self without the ask your self cost that purely tells others which you're unlearned and uncouth to the quantity which you would be able to't show your self. the extra beneficial words purely shows the lack of ability of awareness by using the speaker.

Cussing = cursing
The bible says to bless and not curse. It says that life and death is in the power of the tongue. It says that if one is able to bridle his tongue then he is able to control his whole body (not get "out of control").
It says that if one calls him self religious and bridles not his tongue then his religion is in vain. These are quotes from the bible. Our future is not only determined by our actions but by our words.
