I would like to know how works translates into worship as this has always eluded me. If I read about Jesus, the writers of the gospels are focused on what he actually DID during his life and not about his worship. I don't believe that is a correct translation of what this means. If we are not doing good for others then I see no worth in worship at all.

If works means worship, why the two words? Works means works, the things you have worked on and the product of that work.
You can spend all day praising God in a church, or go out and earn an extra $20 to feed the poor.

It also depends upon your deeds to others. You can worship in the House of the Lord everyday, but what sort of "person" does that make you if you don't try to better the world by your actions however small.
Besides I consider my worship between my Father and I. Those discussions are privite family matters.

works are praise and worship. Also they are kind actions toward one another. Christians are the light of the world. We can be known by our kind hearts

You are not suppost to brag about works.
Matthew 6:3 "But when you give to the poor, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,"

Dear Friend,
Jesus did not say that! he said:
John 13:35By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."
God Bless

I won't say lest they be for my glory and not God's. I will say, my works, as little as they are, are woefully pathetic.
