Depends what you're worshipping I guess. Some people worship their dog or their car or the sun or the moon or even their own genitalia. Everyone worships something or someone. who or what is your God? If you think worship means bowing down with your arms above your head. saying ooh and ahhs then I guess I can understand your problem with it. Personally I worship the God of Jesus Christ the creator not the created things. And in my life every thing I do can be an act of worship. raising my kids. Being the best husband I can be for my gorgeous loving wife. going to work. treating others as I would like them to treat me. It can all be done to the glory of God or it can be wasted on whatever else you think is worthy of your time and effort. its what you live for. thats what it means "Worthship" giving honour to that which is worth the most to you. So I think it's not so much that you have a problem with it rather that you are probably giving it to something that is not worthy of it, thus it is futile and unfullfilling for you.

Presuming that your discomfort with worship is the seemingly pointless and irrational ritual and the notion of "praise", I'd say that there is nothing so bad about it. That is exactly my reason for not being comfortable with "worship". I consider it a mark of having "good sense" and of personal individuation rather than being just another ant in the colony.
The term, however, has been twisted from what was probably its original meaning. It is really a compound word made up of worth, or value, and shape. As I remember, the old English words were something like "weorth" and "schippe". I am convinced that its original meaning was either to shape one's self, one's behavior, in accordance to what was of value. Alternatively it could reasonably have meant to shape one's self or one's behavior in order to obtain or achieve what was of value.
Given that as it's meaning, one "worships" by educating oneself, keeping fit, observing a good diet, behaving in a socially responsible, indeed, lovable way, etc. If one is uncomfortable with that, then that is, indeed, too bad.

The only worship I am comfortable with is worshiping God, so I don't think it is bad that you aren't comfortable with it. What I would consider bad, is knowing without a doubt that God exists and that He did everything the Bible says He did for you and you still are not comfortable with worship. That would be indicative of a prideful spirit and pride comes before the fall!

I don't know the circumstances by which you base your views of worship, but perhaps you are not worshiping in a group that is right for you. Different denominations do things different ways and you should scout around until you find a group within which you feel comfortable.

It doesn't bother me in the least whether or not you are or are not comfortable with the idea of worship. The fact of the matter is, the only one that it effects ultimately is you. Considering the options available to you, I'd hate to be wrong and find out down the road that there really was this omnipresent God that was waiting to hold me in judgment.
As for me, I know He is right here.

Your question implies that it IS bad. Better questions might be why are you not comfortable, how did you become uncomfortable, how has your discomfort affected your civic participation, and so on.
It is not bad that you are not comfortable with the idea of worship. It makes me wonder, though, why "religion and spirituality" is a section that is of interest to you. I suspect that you do not equate "worship" with "spirituality," and you would like to enlist theists to your viewpoint, so you ask and answer here.
In any case, feel free not to worship around me.

Who said it was bad? Different strokes for different folks is my motto. If you don't like worship, don't go to a worship service. Simple!

It's not bad.
Free country, freedom of religion, freedom of speech.
If you are religious, your God or gods are omnipotent and love you anyways, as long as you are sincere.
Most people like the idea of worship, espeically in groups, because they like to feel that they are not alone, they are social, and it's part of the human condition.

B/c many people seem to always say they don't want god or worshipping god shoved down their throats but yet they seem to have no problem trying to force their anti god beliefs down Christians throats which is very hypocritical. Why is it OK for people to worship Hollywood celebrities as if they are some form of godhood but yet not OK for people to believe in a god if that's what they choose?
