That is because it is a false teaching.
People claim that the teaching is "implied"- but WHERE? You can't find even an implication anywhere.
If someone had never heard of the trinity before, they'd never ever come to that conclusion themselves just from reading the Bible.
"Jesussaves, let us go shopping"
Does that make us one person? No! "Us" does not mean a trinity, all it means is just more than one. It can be two, three, four, five......
At least you can see that!
EDIT: You see how they say "Read your Bible", implying that the problem is with YOU. Ask them "WHERE in the Bible is this teaching?"
You haven't found it, neither have I and several other millions of people. WHERE?

No. Religious research sources admit that the trinity is not Bible based. For instance:
L. L. Paine, professor of Ecclesiastical History acknowledged: "The Old Testament is strictly monotheistic. God is a single personal being. The idea that a trinity is to be found there . . . is utterly without foundation."
The Encyclopedia of Religion admits: "Theologians today are in agreement that the Hebrew Bible does not contain a doctrine of the Trinity."
The New Catholic Encyclopedia also admits: "The doctrine of the Holy Trinity is not taught in the Old Testament."
The Encyclopedia of Religion says: "Theologians agree that the New Testament also does not contain an explicit doctrine of the Trinity."
The New Encyclopedia Britannica reports: "Neither the word Trinity nor the explicit doctrine appears in the New Testament."
The New International Dictionary of New Testament Theology confirms: "The New Testament does not contain the developed doctrine of the Trinity."
The trinity is very easy to be disproved by the Bible. Instead of calling God a tri-person, Jesus said at John 17:3 that his Father was the ONLY true God.
The trinity did not take on its present form until over 300 years AFTER the Bible had been completed. As A Catholic Dictionary notes: “The third Person was asserted at a Council of Alexandria in 362 . . . and finally by the Council of Constantinople of 381.”

See, the problem is that Judaism was hijacked by some unscrupulous fellows that held other theological beliefs, such as those found throughout the mediterranean. Those theological belief systems included trinities (Isis, Osiris, Horus, their greek and roman counterparts, etc...) as well as dying gods that offered salvation. Jewish theological belief contained none of that. They were consistent with pure monotheism, meaning one god (with no parts, partners, or pieces) that created everything, including evil, calamity, and catastrophy. Others in the mediterranean practiced either polytheism, while technically Christianity is a henotheistic religion http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henotheism#Christianity. Christianity did not grow out of Judaism, it simply adopted and adapted the Hebrew text as background for their own theological beliefs. The trinity was and will never be a part of Judaism, as making their god into multiple parts and personalities is considered highly blasphemous.

Satan has been Known to cause Mischief from the very beginning..Follow this Logic:
Satan approached the woman. He urged her to ignore God’s will and to become morally independent, stating: “You positively will not die. . . . You are bound to be like God, knowing good and bad.” (Genesis 3:1-5)
Seeking to break Job’s integrity to God, Satan said: “Skin in behalf of skin, and everything that a man has he will give in behalf of his soul.” (Job 2:4) What a sweeping claim that was! By using the general term “a man” instead of the name Job, Satan brought into the arena of doubt the integrity of every human. He, in effect, asserted: ‘A man will do anything to save his life. Give me a chance, and I can turn anyone away from God.’
Satan said: “If you are a son of God, hurl yourself down [from the battlement of the temple, like a potential suicide]; for it is written, ‘He will give his angels a charge concerning you, and they will carry you on their hands, that you may at no time strike your foot against a stone.’”
What is there to stop him from Tampering with God's word?
Using Men to insert Unscriptural Doctrines and pass it off as the Word of God?
Toward the end of the first century, the apostle John gave this advice to his fellow Christians: “Beloved ones, do not believe every inspired expression, but test the inspired expressions [just as you would test water for purity] to see whether they originate with God, because many false prophets have gone forth into the world.” (1Â John 4:1)

The word "trinity" nor the word "Christian" is in the Bible, just just because the words are not written there doesn't mean the teachings aren't there! The word "Bible" is not in the Bible, you get what I'm saying??
Just READ your Bible...it seems you haven't done that or you just don't believe in the Bible. There are tons and tons of scripture that point to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit being of one nature (they are NOT one person with three heads). It's likened to a father, mother and child being one substance (human), but being totally separate in their roles.
Just read the Bible....so many questions like this can be answered if people just did that.

because it's a bunch of baloney started by former pagans who didn't want to give up polytheism. there's a lot of history behind triune gods, just like many pagan holidays were whitewashed into the 'new' religion, christmas and easter being the two most notable ones.
The first commandment given to Moses is "no other gods" and Abraham worshipped God and God alone. We need to get back to basics. We are not "unworthy" to worship God directly. It's what He wants.

Because the Trinity does not, especially Bibically, exist. It's a central CATHOLIC doctrine, I think it was originally meant to reach the polytheists.

Trinity was a confusing way man used to try and describe God. The Bible is very plain, their is a Father, his Son and the Holy Ghost. 3 separate individuals, working together as the Godhead. The concept of the three being one individual is hard to understand because it is not entirely correct.
Edit: additional info from the talk in my third link:
The first restored truth that I learned was the nature of the Godhead. The true Christian doctrine that the Godhead consists of three separate beings was known in biblical times. God bore witness of Jesus, His Only Begotten Son, on several occasions. He spoke at Jesus’s baptism: “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Jesus Himself testified of God, His Father, when He said, “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” After Jesus’s death and Resurrection, we learn that Stephen, “he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, and said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.” What a dramatic testimony of the Godhead from that disciple of Christ.
