No. I believe a person should get punished properly for what they have done. Slapping them on the wrist and putting them in a prison where they get three square meals a day thanks to tax money, isn't my idea of "punishment". The jail near where I live, the inmates get 3 meals from the DINER NEXT DOOR. Well hell, I'll commit a crime just to be fed like that for free.

My hero...

If you rape someone, you will be raped. If you stab someone, you will be stabbed. Remember that old saying, "Put yourself in there shoes"? Or, "Treat other's how you wish to be treated"? Well, why does that suddenly stop with punishment?

In my eyes, Ghandi was too forgiving.

I promise you, if the punishment for raping and killing someone was being bound in a cell and tortured while they kept you alive as long as possible, just to show you what you put the victim through...the world wouldn't be blind. It would be a place where people would be too FRIGHTENED to commit such heinous acts.
