Feed some canned pumpkin and consult your vet, there could be a medical reason why the cat is backed up.

If the cat can't pass a stool, it's NOT something that can wait two weeks! This will kill the cat when it goes into shock.

Get the cat in WITHOUT an appointment and get it taken care of or you won't have a cat to take in when the official visit comes due.

Hi
make sure they are drinking lots of water and getting some fiber in their diet. Like canned pumpkin.

if you are sure that your cat has been constipated for a week then i would say that it would be a good time to take her to thevets where they can give them specail laxatives. The last thing you want is to leave it too long and the condition to get any worse.
See the article below it gives you some more background information on cat constipation. Good Luck

Take it to the vet. Here are 2 links about cat constipation.

I'm in the TAKE HER TO THE VET league... but meantime...you could try offering about 1/4 to 1/2 cup of cow's milk...some adult cats are lactose intolerant and this will get the guts working without doing harm. The danger is dehydration...so keep fresh water handy. In the future...add water to your cat's food...any extra intake is a good thing. Good luck!

Take the cat to the Vet ASAP - a week is too long.
