i have a chihuahua that is about 9 months and something is wrong with her eye. i noticed it yesterday morning that her right eye was lower than the other and she kept blinking it and the white part was red. now this morning when she wakes up her right eye wont even open. when i got home yesterday my dad told me to wash her face with warm water and he told me to do the same again once i told him that it wouldnt open.
Everything has been normal and fine with her but i was thinking that she probably could've been alergic to carrost i dont know. i tried to give her one, she reallt didnt eat it she just chewed most of it up and spit it out.
well please someone help me if you can tell me whats wrong with my pup :-/

She probably has conjunctivitis, similar to pink eye. She should see a vet fairly quickly, but it's easy to clear up with the correct medication.

Call a vet and get her in today. Could be infection, she could have scratched her eye. Eyes are really sensitive and you don't want to wait and mess around with them. Plus eyes injurers are very painful for your pup. This doesn't sound like it's a allergies or something like a hair in the eye.

You need to see a vet for antibiotics. Dad is correct, keep the eye clean if you can. But she needs antibiotics. Talk to your Mom and Dad again.

Um, how about picking up a phone book, turning to the yellow pages for your city, and looking under the section marked 'veterinarians'? Much faster than asking us and waiting for our responses. We can hardly tell you a vet to go to if we don't even know where you live, now can we?

No one on here or on any other site can tell you what is wrong with your dog...for one thing it is against the law to od so for another no one here has physically examined your dog.
You need to TAKE this puppy to a vet and get her examined properly, get a correct diagnosis and correct treatment.

My sisters mini australian it got stung on the eyelid by a bee she had to take it to the vet and get medication for him his eye swelled shut and he couldent see. So you probly need to get your dog to the vet asap.

No one here can prove that they are a vet... Don't risk taking phony advice from someone, even someone well-meaning. Get off the computer and go to a professional whose credentials you can see.
