If you are from among one of the Christain Faiths, do you have "faith" in the observane of Easter and Christmas, or Mass? Does it matter to you that these observances come from Pope and Catholic church? If you don't believe then why do believe in so many of the doctrines this early church established? If you do believe why don't you fully submit to her complete authority?

And that no lie is of the truth. He concedes to them a judgment, by which they could distinguish truth from falsehood; for it is not the dialectic proposition, that falsehood differs from truth, (such as are taught as general rules in the schools;) but what is said is applied to that which is practical and useful; as though he had said, that they did not only hold what was true, but. were also so fortified against the impostures and fallacies of the ungodly, that they wisely took heed to themselves. Besides, he speaks not of this or of that kind of falsehood; but he says, that whatever deception Satan might contrive, or in whatever way he might attack them, they would be able readily to distinguish between light and darkness, because they had the Spirit as their guide." - John Calvin, Comment on 1 John 2:21.

The observance of the Holy days you have mentioned, comes from a belief in Jesus Christ, His birth and His Resurrection. I am not Catholic and I do not attend Mass.
I do not believe that these Holy days come from the Pope and the Catholic Church, I observe these days, due to my faith in Christ, not a person or a church. I believe only what is in the Bible and it relates to Christian worship. The Catholic Church has chosen to add their version of many events. I do not necessarily subscribe to them.

The so called "Christian Calendar" is NOT related to Christianity, so its observation comes under Colossians 2:16 "So don’t let anyone judge you because of what you eat or drink. Don’t let anyone judge you about holy days. I’m talking about special feasts and New Moons and Sabbath days." The ORIGIN of the "holy days" doesn't really matter one way or the other.

...Its observance is not and should not be "required" of anyone, AND those who CHOOSE to observe it for whatever reason should not be condemned for that choice.

In the same way, many of the teachings of catholicism are not really Christianity, but Paul teaches against condemning someone over "holy days," so this is not a "point of attack" I would choose, rather, I would stick to points where there is solid Biblical backing opposed to the teaching.
