1) That most souls go to Purgatory, a few to hell, and a few straight to Heaven.
2) That the souls in Hell even then in their suffering choose to curse God and ignore Him.
Seems to be it is still their choice. Not God's choosing. What are your thoughts?
Peace Be With You,

Always pray for the deceased even if all the evidence is that he died unrepentent because only God can see the depths of the heart.

I get a kick out of people who say Marian apparitions are not in the Bible.

Well, duh, the last book of the New Testament was completed probably in the year 100 AD. The apparitions at Medjugorje began in 1980.

es, I did know that, and it makes perfect sense also. Those who claim that they are going straight to heaven disregard Jesus, who said that nothing unclean shall enter heaven. They apparently think of themselves as perfect....

I don't believe the visions of Mary, nor in purgatory.
I do know God has laid before us a door that is open, and two options. He has provided the way to allow us to enter into His Kingdom, and warned us well ahead of time of the other option.
God honors our decisions, and does not force Himself on anyone.

I would like to gently remind you that the attacks on your faith are directed at these types of things. Here you suggest extra Biblical revelation has merit. We should not add to scripture as Jesus Christ is the final revelation - there are warnings about adding to the Word of God. Secondly there is no way Purgatory is taught in Scripture. It is absolutely untrue. Quite happy to discuss this if you want to. Also there is no proof that the apparition of Mary at Medjugorje is other than a deceiving Spirit. After all the devil can appear as an angel of light. None of the souls in hell will want to be there I assure you. Such an idea is utterly contrary to the teaching of Jesus when He pronounced on the last judgement - remember these words of His:
Matthew 7
22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Do you think they will WANT to depart? They will be terrified as they knew a different Jesus.

By saying it is "not of God's choosing" in one way you are correct - God does not wish that any will perish -
1 Timothy 2:3-5 (King James Version)

3For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

4Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

5For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

but there will be men who think they are saved and are not because they never got into the word. Note above the only mediator between God and Man is Jesus Christ. Not Mary (Blessed be her name).

So while I have no doubt you love God (your poem speaks this) you must believe that which is taught by the Bible and if any other teaching contradicts this then the Bible takes precedent.

remember"Galatians 1"
7Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

8But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

9As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

have a blessed day and may the love of God keep you and fill you with wisdom, knowledge and understanding. You do not have to be a Catholic to be a Christian. In many ways it is harder to be one because you do not have the Doctrine of Assurance. You are His. Hold on to that.

it's always been our choice - those that say we have no free will just don't want to take responsibility for their actions.

Interesting collection of fictionalized Christianity...

As was already pointed out, it is NOT in the Bible.
