Faith is measurable. You can look at it in how much you believe and you can look at it in how much you doubt. For me I'll look at it in how much I believe and pray for more. More and more faith is what I need.
If I were to measure in doubts I feel I would tend to increase that way. I want my Faith to increase. This statement doesn't mean that I have no Faith. I could have the most Faith in the world but still room for increasing it.
Think of yourself as an atheist. You believe there is no God. But do you find yourself doubting that? If so maybe you have faith but just a whole lot of doubt. Life's a journey, see where it takes you. You may end up saved after all.

I can relate to this very well. Growing up, I never really bought the teachings of my family's church. I went along with it because that was what was expected of me. I finally decided that enough was enough and though I believed in God, I was obviously not connecting with him. I began a long search for the right religion and evenutally found what works for me. I've never been happier.

I love Jesus and I truly believe he died on the cross for our sins, if we believe and ask forgiveness and repent and accept what Jesus has done for us through faith, we will be saved. I did go through a time of doubting but I worked through it and I know that I am stronger in my faith because of it. I have no doubt that Jesus was God's son and I have no doubt that I am following the right path for Salvation and for a well-lived life in this world now.
I think if someone is faking being a "Christian", it's better for them to stop because I think we should all be true to who we are. And I hope that they will someday find themselves believing in the truth of Jesus Christ.

faith is believing without seeing; you can lose your way at times but find your way back ; that is part of being human; I never doubt that he exists b/c my life has proof, time after time ; there are events that I couldn't have even imagined which surpass my expectations; every time that I give up something to him completely, he comes through, again beyond my greatest expectation and it is a feeling like someone pulls the rug out from you b/c it is so astounding! God doesn't cause bad to happen but promises that he will be there if it does; it is like love, you can't see it or touch it but it exists within your very being; you may be able to see the actions of love; a hug, an act etc but it is love untouchable; God has shown his love for us in our bodies in our protection and providing everything, the sun, the water, food, etc; you see his actions of love although you don't see him; you can feel him in your being like you feel love within you for someone or something. Faith is knowing he exists without seeing b/c we feel him , same as love.

NO, I know Jesus Christ is real because His Holy Spirit lives within my heart. Jesus said that the Kingdom of God is within YOU. Jesus said in JOhn 3:3 that you must be born again to see the Kingdom of God. Born Again Spiritually, flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God because of sin, Jesus came and died on the Cross at Calvery to take away that sin. He paid our sin debt. OUr ransom for eternal life in Heaven if we believe. Being born again has given me a great peace, there is no going back for me, now that I know what I know. I have seen God do miracles, and felt that supernatural power, once you feel that, you will never doubt again. First you need to be born again, be saved by the blood of Jesus. Are you willing to confess to Jesus you are a sinner? Are you willing to admit that you need a Saviour and that Jesus is the Saviour of the world? Are you willing to admit that Jesus arose from the grave the third day to wash away your sins and cleanse you forever if you beleive? If you are then Pray this sinners prayer of faith believing with all your heart and start your life over afresh and anew, just pray Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died on a cross at calvery and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this Prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. If you prayed this prayer with a sincere heart you are now a child of God, rejoice that your name is written in the Lambs book of Life. Jesus will now send his Holy Spirit to come and live in your heart and guide you into all truth. If you made a decision for Christ or have any questions, Please send me an email, God Bless YOU!!

In retrospective I believe that I was "faking it" for many years. I had continued in the faith that I was raised into based on the strength that others had in the faith. I merely accepted their word for what they said. It was not until I searched out for myself and found my own faith to stand on that I really became a "true believer". I believe that is what the Apostle Paul meant when he said that we should work out our own faith with fear and trembling.
Hope that helps.

That was me for probably the last year (and only the last year) that I considered myself a Christian. I was going through the motions, but had this nagging feeling in my gut that it was all a lie.

I dont know about that, but many Christians are hypocritical. They pray on Sunday and prey on Monday, Tuesday...........etc. Not all Christians. But many of them.
