Well I had a fight with this guy I was seing. We had a romantic sex /dinner date at his place. Before the date we agreed he'd drive me home afterwards. When time came to for me to go home ( after he cooked dinner for me, and we had sex during which he had an orgazm prematurely) he told me he will give me for the money for the taxy instead of driving me. And that its easy to find a cab and we "could go out and find one" but he didn't get dressed. It was obvious he wants to stay in his undies and go to bed. than he started asked me how much the taxy ride will be and we had an argument whether its 12 or 13 pounds. than he said he needs to get rid of my change and made me wait 5 min whilst he started going through all the drawers looking for change...50 p's, 1pound coins...he didn't have enough... I started to fill humiliated and asked for notes. He said he has notes, but he wants to keep'em I told him change is rude to give change. he argued its not. i was upset and left( refused money

well arnt you just a drama queen. to me, money is money, and the only reason you didnt want the change is cause it makes you look poor and you have to much pride... get over it, you could have been nice, and said dont worry about the change darlin, ill get the cab fare.... or took the change and paid with your own bills..... many more options than creating an argument over something so silly.
and really, you didnt need to add in dinner/sex details, kinda pointless for the topic. In the end, i think you were wrong.

I don't know why he was so bothered about whether it was £12 or £13! He should have given you £15 to make sure you got home safely. Also, he should have called a taxi to come and pick you up from his house or at least walked with you to find one. At least thats what a gentleman would do who respected you.

He sounds rude, obnoxious and tight to me. You've seen his true colours now, and sounds like he's rubbish in bed anyway so get out now while you can ;-)

Maybe he thought he had spent enough with dinner etc, the misery. I reckon he did have notes, but just wanted to delay having to give you the money for a taxi hoping you would refuse and leave.

Remember its your choice if you want to see him again? I wouldn't

I guess coins do work, and he is the one paying so probably petty to refuse the coins (although I agree, bills would be the considerate thing to provide).

But, his whole way of handling everything was rude. I would have been irritated too. To have a guy scrambling around for money to get me out of his apartment after sex would be just too humiliating

Sounds like he got what he wanted and then couldn't be bothered to drive you home. Sounds like he was only after one thing. I would stay well clear of him and think twice before giving it up so easily. Just learn your lesson and move on and next time, have dinner round yours or in a public place.

Him not driving you home probably had a bit to do with his being embarrassed because he came before to soon. I'd say don't see him again. But mainly because the whole thing sounds embarrassing for both of you, not because you are necessarily right.

wow, what a keeper... my guy drives me home after every date. we switch turns in who goes to whom and if i can't get to his place, he will come pick me up and drive me home - eventhough we're only 19-year old college-students and he has to pay for his own gasmoney...

let it pass this time... but if it gets more frequent than perhaps you should consider the fact that he might be a very lazy dude... but for now, i would forget about it - perhaps he just had a bad day before you came over and is terribly tired...? everyone is allowed one mistake, right?

watch how he acts around you next time and make your decision based on that!

if it is like this now it will only get worse later on.

Plus, I would not call it much of a romantic meal if he has sex with you afterwards then gives you the taxi treatment, why didnt he allow you to stop the night?
