Yes, it's okay to ignore an ex, especially if it was a bad break up.

See him and don't see him.

Just pretend he's invisible and that you two never were!

No. This is why there are so many issues in the world.
Why would you ignore someone you know.
If the opportunity exists. Look them in the eye, stretch out a hand and say hello, how the heck are you!.
We run away from too much today. It is not necessary.
If you know people that do. Then break free, be the first.
There is and never has been any shame in being in a relationship, as throughout our lives we have many.

If you have no kids with your ex, then I would say it's ok to ignore him, but if he comes up and says hello, atleast be the better person and say hello back.
Don't be all rude about it or anything, you always want to be the better person in the end. Don't go out of your way either.

I never did that. Although from some of the things I read on here......some people should ignore the crazy ex.

There is no rule that says you can't ignore him. Go for it.
Or you could be the bigger person and act civilized if you cross the same path. Just be merry and fine like he doesn't even matter to you

You can do that. It depends on the feelings on both siades after the separation. It also depends on the causes of the separation.

Based on your "Bad Breakup" it would be awkward but acceptable to ignore them. It is also diplomatic, especially when with friends. to move as far away from them as possible.

I usually date men from other parts of the country so this doesn't tend to be a problem for me however, I would still be friendly to most of them if I saw them....except one who did the dirty on me. I'd ignore him....to prevent me from hitting him!
