Go to Limerick, we all play a great game down here, its called 'How long can you stay alive'.

Why not do a bit of research first to find out what would suit you. I have lived in Cork for 15 years and now I am in Donegal. Different people like different things. You could go to Dublin or Louth for a weekend and see what you think.

Louth is nice but I like Sligo too.
Go to Dublin if you like the city life

I like the west, and I live near Limerick, and Limerick is a city with an undeserved reputation ... there's crime everywhere and no matter where you are, if you go looking for trouble you are sure to find it. I've never had any problems in Limerick. Limerick people are extremely friendly.

Louth? Right across from the time bomb that is Sellafield Power Plant? Are you nuts?

Dublin obviously has a lot of facilities and is quite busy, so if that's what you like, then why not give it a try - you can always move elsewhere if you decide.

I'm from Wexford but live in Dublin, and can tell you for a fact that not everyone that lives there wants to get out, as someone else said - if they did, then they'd move, quite obviously. I love Dublin and have no intentions of moving.

anywhere in Louth is the pits. Stay clear. Dublin is expensive. Athlone, Waterford, Cork region all good.

dublin if you like socialising and have the money to live there :) or up north is good too.

....but if you're sensitive to hatchets in the head dont move to dublin then...or the north...or the south...or the east for that matter...maybe a desert island :)

Athlone. it's nice and unlike the other midlands towns, it's not totally remote so it's kind of urban but because it's in the midlands it does'nt have the big bustling annoying urban the other large towns and cities have. it's very nice and has all the facilities you could hope for.
