wow..the things they will say about us Shia. Not a single one true. And should know..I am one!
And you expect non-muslims to understand Islam.
*********
I have done enough research and read enough books to understand both points of view. For that reason I respect all muslims and put money and time in promoting Islamic unity.

I don't understand how both Sunni and Shia can go to Hajj and pray side by side, believe in the same teachings then go and justify killing each other.
How long will everyone have to pay for Karbala?
Can't we just agree to disagree on some things and let others live in peace?

a) I don't understand why different interpretations of historical events require a different sect.
b) I don't understand why different interpretations of historical events require a different sect.
-------------
I don't understand why religious leaders from both sects don't meet and settle their differences so that the sects can be reunited. It seems that in places where there is conflict between sunnis and shiaas, like in iraq, it's not even about Islam and Religion anymore... it's an ideological war, it's like: your name is Ali ? okay I'm gonna kill you. It's not even about what you believe, if you're born to sunni parents then you're condemned to be hated by the shi'a, if you're born shi'a it's the other way around. It's just disgusting, THIS IS NOT ISLAM.

Muslims are the only ones which we need unity with... Those who follow the Sunnah because this is what Allah swt has told us to do.. We know that these other people will break into other religions and try to destroy Islam.. Islam is a perfected religion and it is Allah's swt will..... You should not worry about unity but worry about your deeds in the eyes of Allah swt..
Shiaism in Islam can not mean unity when they disrespect Allah swt, Prophet Mohammad saw, his wife, the Companions of Prophet Mohammad saw .....They say the Quran was complete and Ali ra compounded it and that Uthman ruined it and the Quran we know today is falsified..This goes against everything Allah swt has told us,, they have created their own religion..
I have my religion and they have theirs...they can do what they want and they will be judged, it will be to late for them when they are burning in the hellfire.

I have no problem with any sunni brothers & sisters. Allah will judge, who is right & wrong.

With never ending difficulties between the religious sects (not just Islamic), why isn't God more involved with religion?
