I think it is good for children to understand that all people are not the same and as long as it is not affecting her beliefs then it is fine.

My children attend parochial and private Catholic schools, and we have a number of non-Catholic students in both. They are required to study the Faith, and are not exempt from grading in those subjects, though they are not allowed the Sacraments studied.
For the most part, these students are fine young people, and are welcome in our community. There have been isolated incidents in the grade school of students at the middle-school age expressing open hostility to Catholic beliefs, and this has been an issue. I think some of it is just normal "boundary push" of the age, some is an attempt to avoid work, but some is true disrespect of the community, and in those cases, the families have opted to leave the school.
But for the most part, I have no problem accepting non-Catholic students in our school. In fact, there are generally a few families who reconcile to the Church from that population each year.

My kids go to Catholic school and have non-Catholic classmates. We welcome those families to our school.
Not sure what you are looking for? Do you think we'd think those kids are a bad influence on our children or something? That's not a concern for me at all.
