people tell me im pretty but alot of people say i look much older then 13. Today i walked into school and the lady gave me a pass for 10th grade and when i told her i was in 8th she looked shocked and said " sorry, i thought you were much older!" is this a good thing i can't tell!?

at your age, yes, it is a very good thing to look older. However, when you get older, it is not very good any more. Once you reach the age of 21, there is nothing to look forward to any more, except retirement. But after 21 you just get old. There is nothing fun about looking older from there. Believe me, I am over 21 and it is no big deal, The only cool thing about it is I look old enough that I can buy beer and no one checks my ID any more. I can drink all the beer I want any time and any where I want and no one thinks any thing of it. That is the only good thing about looking older now. lol

I used to look older when I was a teenager, which is a good thing, I reckon...never had any problem getting into clubs, etc and adults seemed to treat me with more respect. There gets a point (30's I say) where people prefer to look younger than they really are. However, just because you look mature for a teenager doesn't mean you'll get old before your time. I'm 28 now and only yesterday I got ID'd buying alcohol because the cashier thought I was underage!

Right now it is because of.............well no not really boys will think you are older and the only way it is ok is if you tell them the truth otherwise you and him can get into a lot of trouble. The only really bad thing about it is that when you are older you will still look older. Try to find a way to make your self look your age.

looking older for your age is never a great thing, however you are still young and the likelihood was that the woman only mistook you for being 16 which is still very young, if you are tall for your age its easy for people to assume you are older even if facially you don't look that old, several factors can make a younger person look much older including if they smoke, take drugs or wear alot of make-up.

Im 16 but i think i look about 13 but apparently according to my best guy friend. I'm cute and beautiful and everything along the lines of that. You get the picture. I think its good

It neither good nor bad, just part of growing up. Are you tall for your age? In any case, nothing to be concerned about. The main purpose of school is to come out with the grades you need to succeed in life.

This is a good thing, but when your in your 40 it would be much diffrent.
But yes its a good thing, you can get into clubs and stuff :D
