No. In most companies people get paid by there experience and a 15 year old at his or her first time job should not get paid more or the same as the 20 yr old who's been there 2 yrs.

Not every older person is skillful and in some cases are more prone to dithering and making mistakes.

Everyone should be paid the same if they are doing the same job.

I've never understood a pay scale going up the longer you're with a firm especially if the job remains the same.

Depends on the job. If you are both flippin burgers then yea... You both should be paid the same.

Now let's talk about medicine. Younger doctors won't make as much as their older counterparts. Simply put, would you rather have an experienced doctor operate on you or a young doctor who works just as hard as anybody else but just lacks the experience?

I agree for it. Why? If I am the employer, and if I have an employee who has a masteral degree or even years of experience, but he is so bossy and feels like he owns all his subordinates, yet too lazy. And I have one employee who is a fresh graduate and doesn't have any experience at all but he is knowledgeable and easy to cope up with things. Who you should pick?

One should possess SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, ATTITUDE. and not some kind of experience or anything. That's why we have EVALUATION.

No they shouldn´t.
Beacause experience is a very valuable qualification.

Young employees don´t usually have that. That´s why your pay raises after time you´re in the company.

There should be a starting point for salaries. After that raises can be determined on merit, or longevity. In that way everyone is treated fairly.

I think so only if the young people can perform just as well as the older colleagues. So I think young people deserve it.
