No it's not wrong. He identifies with Latinos therefore he has submersed himself in their culture and identifies with that ethnicity. Sounds fine to me.

First of all, by normal you mean that your cousin is a cool guy who has a cool sense of getting along with other races?
Second, you mean normal as he is amazingly intelligent , because he knows the great value of speaking two languages?
Third, where's the nation of Black/Latino? I know there's Mexico, Canada, USA, I never heard of a nation called "Black/Latino".
Last , but no least, Instead of asking if is normal, you should be asking what do we think about this exceptional young man, who's hungry for knowledge and rejects ignorant race separation.

no it isnt wrong, unusual, maybe but not wrong. maybe he IS black and latino. However, if he is fluent in spanish, good, he may become a translator for many groups or orinizations.

There is a lot of mingling of the different races in America, which is a good thing.

We in America have our challenges. Tolerance is necessary in many of our environments.

However, there is also a great deal of turmoil between different races in America. Which is very sad.

Peace.

Well who the heck cares. Obviously you do to post the question. Perhaps he relates tothe hispanic so well he feels part of them. My sister is always thrilled when someone thinks she is jewish we grew up amongst the jewish people so she always related so well to them. Its not a big issue eventually he will just say black. If it makes him feel good,,hey why let it bother you?

No, no problem at all. America is a melting pot, haven't you heard?

And it's getting to where all of us who live in the Southwest border states are going to have to learn Spanish to survive!

Ones race is not a determining factor of ones culture. I would say it is normal, and very common to one extent or another.

It's inaccurate . If he was born in America then his nationality is American not some combination of hyphens and slashes

He is a self-hating black guy, and no it's not normal. Even though this is true, I'll probably get thumbed down.
