Living in the back seat of a 1972 Nova with my 3 brothers & sisters. Our alcoholic father threw us out on Dec 21...we lived in that car until March. We had no money, food. We were finally taken in by a family at a local church then my mom got a job and we got our own 1 bedroom apartment, that all took about 10 Months

A few years ago, my family and I went to my grandmothers for Christmas.. but on Christmas Eve. Well everyone in our family got food poisoning so we all spent Christmas morning in bed. Not much fun having 5 people with 2 bathrooms when you're as sick as we were =(

The year my mother died....she passed away on Dec. 21st, her birthday was Dec. 23rd (she would have turned 60 that year). My father had died 3 years before that...It was such a surreal Christmas...no one should have to bury their parent right before Christmas. I was only 27 when she passed.
