i personally would think sting. those to had a great rivalry in wcw. him and steamboat also had a great rivalry but today those 2 wouldnt be able to put on the best match. the coolest scenario would be a fatal 4way with sting the dragon and dusty rhodes.

Both are great wrestlers but I would have to go with Steamboat. Flair had his best matches with him.
What would be awesome is if Flair, Steamboat and Sting had a 3 Way Dance (or Triple Threat, whatever you wanna call it) at WM 24 for Flairs last match.

With Flair and Sting's past rivalry, I believe Sting is a better fit.
In comparison to Ricky Steamboat, his matches against Sting were more critically acclaimed by wrestling fans, and I believe it would draw more emotion at the end, especially since both wrestlers plan on retiring soon.

Although it would never happen Sting would be the best way, to go. Flair and Sting had the very last match in WCW history, but the only problem is that Sting has said he would never wrestle in the WWE because of Vince.
I hope his last match is going to be against someone who can help carry him through the entire thing. If its anything like last monday against Orton it will be terrible.

It would have to be Ricky Steamboat, because there is no way Sting will wrestle for McManiac.

a scenario i heard between Ric Flair and The Undertaker is cool but i believe that Ric Flair vs Ricky Steamboat in a match one more time will be awesome. Two of my favs ever.they gve us so many magnificent pure wrestling matches and these matches were/are inspiration for the next generations..
I think that a Steamboat vs Flair match and a standing ovation in the end would be a clssic of classics.....

Ric Flair vs. Harley Race in a Steel Cage at Wrestlemania 24!
It would be the 25th anniversary or close enough anyway.

To be honest I wouldn't like to see either guy wrestle Ric Flair for his last match. Sure it would be a nice match for nostalgic reasons but Flair deserves to wrestle the best there is when he does decide to retire. He has given wrestling so much over the years that he should be rewarded the opportunity to put on one last classic match and that will only be possible with someone like Shawn Michael's.
I think his last match will be this years Wrestlemania but I'm not sure who he'll be put against. I believe the main event will be HHH v HBK so my dream match won't be possible. I just hope he's not put into some kind of gimmick match against someone who is not in the same class as Ric.

It's hard to pick someone because, logically, most of the people that Flair feuded with are retired. Out of those that are still going, it would have to be Sting.
However, I'm going to play favorites on this. I would like his final match to be against CM Punk. I think Punk is the future of the WWE and it would be nice to see Flair pass the torch that way. I think that CM Punk would be one of the few current wrestlers with a long future ahead of him that would see the gesture for what it really is. I would say John Morrison, as I really like him, but I wouldn't want to see Flair's retirement immediately become heel heat.
