I used to get the giggles all the time in church when I would sit with my friends. That is why half of my right ear is missing since my mother made it a habit of sitting behind us and pinching me on the ear everytime I could not control myself. Just made my friends laugh even more.

Inappropriately. For Me? Nope. But to Everyone else? Yes. I've thought some things that People'd say were funny as Hell, but noone else did. Got lots of stinkeye during those times. Kinda comes with the territory, Me being a "weirdo" and all.

Yeah I know what you mean. That happens to me especially when something bad has happened to someone. I do it because it's usually a mix of disbelief and I believe the fact that I crave the hormone (endorphin I think) that is secreted in the brain when you laugh. It's sort of like a drug that makes you feel better.

I laugh at the most inappropriate moments too. Once my dog fell off the balcony of a 2 story building... i had to run into the toilets to control my laughter and not let people see... even though it wasn't funny. I don't mean to laugh at inappropriate moments, but i guess it just happens.

OMG!!!
In October, my Aunt killed herself. At the funeral, my Mom and daughter were fooling around. I was on the other side of the room and was laughing at them. The only good thing was that they were being so noisy, no one noticed me - at least I don't think they did!!!
(Why do guys think it is ok to hit on a girl at a funeral?)

I laughed at a very inappropriate time, this year actually.
My closest friend found out that his girlfriend had been cheating on him for Six months and I laughed hysterically.

yes. To my shame, i found myself laughing at a man on fire when watching the Bradfire stadium fire distaster on the news. I was a teenager at the time and i think i was so horrified that people could die by going to a football match, that i couldnt sort my emotions and laughed instead. I am so sorry i did that, i certainly didnt think it funny and i was very embarrassed by it.

I remember going to "Romeo and Juliet" back in the 70's with a couple of girlfriends and laughing hysterically while one of my friends was crying. She was looking at me like I was cruel.

My sister laughed hysterically at a family friends funeral...on a happier note, when my other sister was marrying her husband in a registery office, they both started to laugh as they stood with the registrar saying their vows....they couldnt stop and tears rolled down their cheeks...gradually the whole room started to laugh too...except the registrar who was trying to calm us all down...but we couldnt stop...the whole room was in hysterics....the registrar shouted at us which made us worse!
Eventually we all calmed down and my sister was married....no one has ever forgotten her wedding day!
