some are smarter than adults

2007-11-29 23:09:23 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 4 0

the only time I think Teenagers are Stupid is when it come to them doing drugs , but then even some adults are just as stupid.
Stupidity and no common sense in teenagers kind of looks like the same thing in teens, I just think some of them don't have good common sense and that's because of inexperience but thy are not stupid.
Now their is a lot of adults out there that are as stupid as stupid can be , at lest teens have an excuse ( inexperience).
Most teen don't get enough cridit for being smart or being good kids.
There are a few that are just lost ,but look at there parents and you may just understand why thy are like that.
Most of the time stupidity breeds stupidity wither its from a parent or society.

Nah, some of them are adults as well, but then, some stupid teens grow into even stupider adults, but probably only because as you get older peoples expectations increase, where the 'once was a teen' has grown into 'currently now an adult', and as Gump said, stupid is as stupid is, I think that was it, anyway. Stupid doesn't change much. If you are hit with the 'stupid stick' I don't think there is much help for you. Is there?

Correct me if im wrong but- hasnt everyone been a teenager, your theory is ignorant. I'm 17 and I'm far from stupid. Adults may have the most 'old school' theorys and know more, but teens have the most up to date knowledge.

You wouldn't just based one teenager on all of them. Yes, I agree with you that some teenagers have no common sense and mess around a lot. But not "all" teenagers are stupid. Your stereotype of teenagers couldn't be judged of one person.

I would have to say, no. We do have a lot of information and knowledge stuffed in our brains! The thing that most teenagers are missing is common sense and this is the missing link that makes most teenagers appear stupid. I say most because some...well saome are stupid and there is no biological/psychological reason for their stupidity. =)

To the contrary, teens are the smartest people on the planet. After all, how else could you account for them being fed, clothed, educated, and cared for by such stupid people as parents? As Mark Twain wrote,`` I left home at 16, cause my father was such a stupid man. When i came home again at 24, it was amazing how much the old man had learned.``

No,there are may not have the experience! But,they absorb so much! When they set their minds to something ,they can do so much, contribute so much. They have fresh ideas, they aren't afraid to put a new spin on something!
While they are intelligent, they fail most of the time.Only because they are impatient, they don't want to plan for tomorrow. They want it today!
I thank my nephew, who taught me how to use my computer!I use to fuss at him(he lived with me for a year)about playing a game ,"Half Life" a kind of shoot 'em up'game.Well,he ended up joining the Navy, and he was being trained to aim the guns of the ship.He now lives in Japan! And I am proud of him. He is now being trained to teach english to Japenese students!
Teen-agers are the root of our future in this country,in each generation!

I have teenage contacts that can give better answers than a lot of the adults. I know teenagers that can make really good decisions.
I know some adults that are not so smart in making decisions and things they say and do.

I'm 13...so I'm not gonna call myself dumb. I'm in algebra 2 which is pretty cool, considering my 36 year old mom doesn't know how to do long division.

I'd say I still have a lot to learn but old people are dumb too. Just as many old people are on crack as young people (as in 19, 20, 21 year olds).

Would depend on the teenager that is in question. It would seem to me that the question is pretty stupid to begin with. So are you a teenager?
