i am 64 and i think i stepped the wrong way, i have a small slight pain on the outside part of my knee down the bottom side toright side of ankle... can someone tell me exactly whay i might have hurt? muscle? tendon? ligament? name of it?... and what can i do to help it out?... its not swollen at all its just a very slight pain.. ice and elevation seemed to help...please assit me further..thx so much

Don't that before myself, didn't go to see doc, just keep your weight off of it as much as possible and try to keep it going straight for awhile, sometimes when your hurt the knee is weak that way and it pulls that way again, just be careful and take it easy for a few days, Good luck!!
