I'm not sure why berly got so many thumbs down. The Wizard starring Fred Savage is the movie that you want. The only thing she got wrong is that Super Mario Bros. 3 was the video game that premiered not Super Mario World.

THe Wizard.....the little boy had to play Super MArio Bros 3 against the kid who had the power glove

Yeah.. she got The Wizard Right.. (and the other answer is correct about the game they previewed on the movie) It was 3 (the one where he first was able to fly)
I love that movie.. (it's even on demand right now..)
and Jenny Lewis was (and still is) awesome.
