abortion a woman choice.........If they make it illegal what do you guys feel will be the outcome?

i personally feel abortion should not be a form of birth control but if you were raped or molested by a family member or someone else you should not be forced to carry it to term. but i feel if they make it illegal more women will show up dead.......more crime......more child abuse.......more child murders. tell me what you think

please if you want to bash don't answer the question i just would like to see what others think

you guys make good points but not that it won't be done anyways.......do you feel crime against women an children will rise and why?

Abortion will never be illegal,but if it was I'm sure a lot of people would be more careful.I think how far into the pregnancy some women decide to have a termination is a major concern,and that should be illegal(there's no need for it).
There is no excuse for anyone to get pregnant these days,with the abundance of contraception that is available, but accidents do happen,and a sensible person would invest in the "morning after pill" if they thought they hadn't had safe sex,but unfortunately not everyone is sensible.

I think that abortions would take place anyway if they were illegal, they'd just be done by amateurs using dangerous methods that could kill the mother or leave her with permanent health problems. I think it's better to have it done by professionals in a safe environment and under surveillance of officials.

If abortions will be illegal, there will also be an increase in child abuse and abandoned children. Unwanted children rarely fare well.

And then there's the rape victims who will feel violated on for the rest of their lives and will have a really hard time coming to terms with what has happened.

I don't want abortions to be used as a birth control, but I want them to be a legal possibility, especially for rape victims and women who might not live through child birth.

How would more women turn up dead if they don't get an abortion? You can die during a attack that lead to rape if abortion is legal or not. Same thing with the crime. Maybe more child abuse but if the woman was raped or something and didn't want the kid she could give it to relatives (you never know with adoption). Though there are ways to get an abortion illegally. Child murders? I don't see how that would increase just because there are no abortions. Yeah there are more kids but that wouldn't make the statistics automatically rise.

Abortion has always and will always exist, whether or not it is legal. If men could get pregnant, then their opinions on abortion would likely change. It is easy to judge women when you know that unwanted pregnancy could never happen to you. The worst that could happen to a man is paying child support for a child he doesn't want. The world is overpopulated. Abortion is a necessary evil. So lay off of it.

I think that there are certain things that people have always and will always do regardless of whether its legal or not. People will always drink, take drugs, use prostitues and women will have abortions.

Yea...abortion should be illegal in most...not all cases. There are exceptions to everything. There are so many ways to prevent pregnancy nowadays..if it comes to that I think both the man and woman should take some responsibility
