Don't use those things, they are nasty for paintwork.
Get it cleaned by hand - either yourself, or one of those drive-thru places/

As above, but all is not lost, provided you wash & wax it next time with a reputable cleaning system (e.g. separate hand wash shampoo, gloss polish (to remove the swirls) followed by non-resin wax or protective polymer (to protect against further swirls!)

How old is your paint job. If recent it has not hardened properly and the nylon brushes can and will mark the paint work
You may have a claim if the car wash has not informed you of the possibility of this happening to fresh paint jobs~~ ~~

Because the rotating brushes have crud on them from previous vehicles. There's a reason why they put up all those prominent disclaimers all over the place . . .
Nasty things, suitable only for company vehicles or hire cars!

The cloths that they use trap dirt and then clean your rig and everyone's rig and just scratch the hell out of the paint.
Wash it by hand or a drive through or touchless wash bay.

Because the guy that went through right before you had mud and dirt and lots of grit on his truck and the automatic brushes sanded your paint job with it....
