Could there be a time machine, which would allow us to see in the past and also correct all of the mistakes we have made?

einstein was right about the speed of light i.e. 3X10^8 m\s but goin into the past seems simply like impossible...there is a theory oabout a parallel universe...dont know wat it exactly means but u can get ur answer from that theory

A multiple question.

First, yes Enstein was right...if his theory is taken in the context intended.

Next, why would Enstein's theory have anything to do with time travel. As far as I know his theory only applies to physical masses (or perhaps masses bound to the laws of physics). I have to admit it is possible but very highly unlikely that in the future it will be possible to travel back in time. But, then again almost anything is possible.

Now to the specifics of the machine...guess what there are many time machines that allow us to see into the past. Ever heard of public records, books, audio recordings, film?

But, the correct all of the mistakes part is a bit harder to accomplish. It would help to know which mistakes you think need correcting. The only two ways I know to correct a mistake are to apologize and try to make it right and the other is not to make a mistake.

This brings us to a point where I have to ask you something. What happens if you could correct the mistake and your alternate solution is even worse?

And no I don't believe in paradoxes...there is no such thing. They only appear when circular logic is applied. Which came first the egg or the chicken? It is simple the chicken was here before there was ever a chicken egg...with that said it is possible that an egg was involved in the evolution of the chicken.

But, what I really think your talking about is a theory about relative time, as applied to someone approaching the speed of light. Remember time is a man made concept. Meaning there is no guarantee that we are measuring it correctly...we have just agreed on the names of certain perceived intervals.

As far as I am aware, the theory of relativity in its basic form only works for certain specific circumstances, outside of which a formula known as special relativity works in its place.
This is partly because Einstein's assumption about the constancy of the speed of light (c) was wrong, it is only constant within one medium.
I'm not going to get into specifics because I only know that much about relativity, but at a guess, it would be impossible to travel back in time without getting trapped there because we have no idea what happens to the present when we change the past.
Does it vanish and reappear differently? Does it still exist on a "branch line" of time, or what?

No as light is admitted from a source at the speed of light and it is impossible to go back in time because the source is always heading light in some direction for it to be seen in the future ~~

Einstein never implied or said that, in fact his theory states that a body cannot get close to the speed of light as as the speed increses so does the mass of the object which means it's inertia increases with mass slowing it down

no - the speed of light is only a bit over 60 mph

he actually put 186000 miles per sec out there as a joke - like the "War of the Worlds" radio broadcast!

he was a real jokester - and would be a great blogger if he was alive today

No Apparently the speed of light is only just faster than a speeding bullet

You are assuming I have made mistakes.

Any 'mistakes' I have made are intentional actions to hide my perfectnessitude.

You are also assuming that time travel is in some way related to Einstein and the speed of light.

You also assume I want to visit your website.

Most definitely Cristian, thus is the basis of his findings, as for the time machine, I would seriously think of sending a note to NASA..lol :)
