Yes, I have a 6 month old daughter. I never had any doctor's check-ups after birth (due to appointment complications), but everything went well for me.

I also remember having a slimy, odourless discharge for about 4 or 5 months after the birth. I'm not sure why this happened, and I was probably just as shocked as you are now, but it stopped eventually and everything went back to normal.

Good luck.

I have had two babies and didn't have this symptom - but that doesnt mean it doesnt have to do with giving birth.. but if it has just now started, 3 mos later, it is probably something else. It sounds like you have too much yeast in your system. It may not be the same as a full blown yeast infection but a sign that one is coming. First thing in the morning before you do anything else, spit in a glass of water - if your spit sits on top, your yeast levels are normal. If your spit looks stringy and slowly sinks to the bottom of the water, you have too much yeast in your system. If you DO have a yeast problem, you can get a yeast detox pill (its like a vitamin) to clear it up. If you DONT have a yeast problem, you should probably check with your doctor just to make sure nothing else is going on. Hope this helps :)

Yes, this is normal. It's an overflow of hormones and completely normal. Are you breastfeeding or did you recently stop? Anything like that can cause a fluctuation. You are smart, if it has an odor or changes to pink, brown or red tinged at all, see your doctor for sure!

well it may sound odd but it is really normal your vaginal fluids do this regularly when you ovulate the thickining helps the sperm swim up stream and seeing as you just had a baby its in overdrive hormones are trying to even themselves out i wouldn't worry too much! if you start getting a bad odor or odd color like greenish, greyish, burning, itching, or fever then you should go to the doc! pinkish and clear and even whitish is normal.

It could be BV or some other minor vaginal infection. You'll need antibiotics to clear it up. Sounds like a trip to the gyno is in order.

Sounds like you're just producing more of the normal vaginal lubricant than usual.
Shouldn't you just ask your doctor? Have you been for a check up since the birth?
