Unless they've been dyed or stained then a rose is a rose is a rose. It is the color it is even if it's been bred to be a specific color. Kinda like if you take a red head and a blond and end up with a strawberry blond then that hair color is just as real as the parent colors. As for what color was the very first original rose? I doubt anyone knows. If you want to know the color of stock rose that is used to make a hybrid tea then the answer is usually white, but sometimes pale pink to pale yellow. This is an open question and the answers are many. Can you narrow it down some?

Your question has two answers:

And if you are asking what is the colour of ROSES (Plant) then I can tell you that there are many many colours of roses, nurseries bring a new hybrid colour every year. It is very interesting. I can not resist buying a new rose or two every season. I think my garden will be filled with many many colours of roses.

Wild roses, which are your original roses, vary anywhere from white to pink to yellow. Hybridised roses can be any color of the red/orange/yellow/white/purple range.

Do you mean wild roses? If so then the dogwood rose is white through to a pale pink.
