I usually just drag the video to iTunes then I convert for play on iPod. It will play on the iPod just without any sound at all.

You will need video conversion software to convert your videos/movies. I've only had success with converting to MP4 format (I couldn't get any other format to play in iTunes or iPod. With AVI or MPEG format the video will play but there is no sound.)

Once it is in MP4 (mpeg4) format, it should work in both iTunes and your iPod.

You gotta convert the vids to MPEG-4 (aka mp4) format. It's pretty easy, just go to http://ww.zamzar.com . Browse for the file and click Convert to mp4.

Hope I helped! =D
