We all have negitive aspects about us, but as for the great Joseph Stalin, he was an ok guy. But of course I would prefer Vladimir Putin any day :p

I think he was handsome as an older man ,not movie star pretty but good strong features ,well groomed.
I saw a picture of him as a young man and he was skinny and sort of geeky looking without his mustache.
but no I dont think he was ugly.

His photographs were airbrushed by the propaganda department. If you look at some of the earlier ones you see that he has rather bad acne scars.
The moustache was great though. Can you imaging a statesman today with a moustache like that? I say, bring back moustachioed statesmen!
