My son is colour blind, on Grey's and greens. I understand only boys can be colour blind but don't know for sure. Because you are colour blind dose not make you see only in black and white. You just don't see the colour as we see it, and because as from a baby mummy told you that colour was grey (but to the colour blind person it was blue) then thats how they learnt their colours.

I am color blind. I see shades , some darker some lighter. I know what the colors are supposed to be, for example I know that an orange is orange, but I see or rather seem to see just shades. If there are two apples on a table, one red and one green I can pick the red one because it's "darker"...because I know that red apples are "deeper" than green ones. It's weird. but then so am I so .............

No! Being colour blind does not mean you are unable to see colours. It means that you see some colours differently. It has virtually no impact on your life. If you see yellow where other people see green, then what you see is and always has been called yellow, even though it is really what we call green. See what I mean? I think I have given myself a headache!

i know a kid whose colour blind and he doesnt just see in black and white he just gets colours mixed up like he sees purple as blue and pink as brown and so on
