Norton Internet Security Suite is a real resource hog for your computer. Personally after having all the Norton products, I only use 'Norton Anti-virus' and it leaves my CPU alone most of the time.

If you are going to renew, use the Norton site for it and create an account there. When you do, purchased software is always recorded and if you forget or loose a registered key, you can always find it there.

Also decide what you need. Do you want the whole package of bells and whistles and the program slowing down your computer or just the essential Virus blocker and having a faster system.

It depends. If you are using Pentium 4 processor, you can extend the license according to the instruction.

However, if you are using Core2Duo, you should buy a new set Norton 2008 which is an improved version (algorithm) than 2007.
