There are so many corrupt people in India. There are also honest people in India. But unfortunately corrupt people are in major ratio than honest people. It may be around 2:1 according to a survey. I don't remember which survey is it...but I'm sure I've read it.

Aw that's sad, that there's so many corrupt people. people should change their morals, but I guess when life is hard, in a developing country, it brings out the bad in people, as they are struggling and basically doing whatever they can to survive, even if it is corrupt.
People in power shouldn't be corrupt. The civilians should stand up for their rights and question authority to get a fair deal. If the people were more informed about the laws, there would be less room for corruption in authorities.
Good question. You see these themes in quite a few Indian films, I don't live there so i wouldn't know.

It is a very serious but all the same very important issue that U have addressed
take 50% of total population of politicians, 40% of total population of Govt. employees, 30% of total business community, 20% of total population of proffessionals, 10% of total population of the army-judiciarry-educationists and finally subtract the total of the above from INDIAN population and we have a somewhat convincing ratio.
Pl. don't take the above seriously, I think between two of us (U & me) it is a sufficient number to dislodge any adverse ratio, U being honest enough to adress this issue in the form of a question & me trying to be honest enough to at least understand the seriousness and the hidden meaning behind the question.
We need to strive for a confirmed place in the minds of people giving due importance to morals, decency and love and I think the ratio will turn positive sooner then expected...we are already in the forward direction as a NATION.... let there be no doubt about it at least.

The ratio of corrupt people to honest people is determined by the number of people who say "Trust me" multiplied by the politicians who say "I'm doing this for the good of the people" Take this number and use as the number opposite 1 .
400:1 for example
This ratio can be applied to any country.

people are corrupt depending on situations in which they are we all must have been corrupt in somewhere or the other in life for our selfish gains ,may when we were small kids and wanted some other persons toy or in our teenage,or while playing games and cheating,or simply copying answers in our exams from our frnds notes, politicians are defined in one word by using this term,so i believe one can never make an honest assessment about others that whether he or she is honest or not.its very difficult to judge whether a person is truly honest or no.

The ratio is, between the people who can get things done for others, for some form of gratitude and the people who need the things done in their favour for a price. both are corrupt .
