Just send your friend a greeting card and a wedding gift in advance.
Congratulate your friend and tell her that you will be occupied with something PERSONAL to do on that day. Since it is personal, you are not obligated to tell her exactly what you do. And wish her a wonderful wedding party. Also, ask them to take more photos to you later.
