Thinking threw things is very normal to do when you walk down life.. Everyone often finds themselves pilfering threw decisions..
It is wise to think threw certain things.. No one should ever make the decision to do harm or inflict another's life in a off way, but then I also try an do the right thing automatic.. or in other words.. I try to be balanced, not only do things of the benefit of myself, but try an keep another's point of view in my mind.. just in case my decision might cause them grief... then i try to do something in a way it doesn't cause them any harm/grief either... or in a small lil phrase.. shouldnt do anything that would just be negative all the way around..

Disagree. If it is wise to look ahead then once we see what there is to see we gladly look further. People are always visualizing and planning for the future. We don't stop at one thing when it comes to our futures.

Agree. Few of us can forsee prophecy--however, we ALL can see what lies just ahead of us. Question is: how many wise ones care to look just ahead of themselves....or behind them, for that matter?
Equally wise are those who look back---those who respect history enough to learn from it so to avoid mankind's greater epic mistakes.
