I found out he lied to me about having a wife before we married. He also lied about not living with another woman while he was married.

Why would he lie about something like that. He sounds like a compulsive liar and cannot be trusted. Can you forgive him? If not then you need to move on and let this be a lesson learned.

He'll lie again. What you have to do first is protect yourself. A real punishment would be to either lock him out of the house or if you do not own anything, move (tell your landlord). While your husband is at work or out, just move and file for divorce. This is not a situation where you punish. You protect yourself first. By doing that, you will be punishing him as he won't have another woman (or as he probably thinks--a notch in his belt) to dominate

Depends on what you want to do. I believe if he lied about being married before that it is grounds for an annulment in alot of places. Not a real good way to start out in marriage. You need to really start communicating or plan to leave the marriage.

If he lied about that then hes lied about a lot more your only going to end up hurting yourself by staying with him and your never going to trust a thing he says or anything he does just leave and save your self you don't need that

Married before and did not tell? What did he say to you when you asked him why he kept this from you?

Major red flags!! Punishing is useless; deciding what you want to do about being married to a fraud is where your energy needs to go...

I'm sorry and best wishes for a positive outcome!

You are going to have to ask yourself if you love him enough to try and make it work. But once that trust is gone, it will never be the same. You might want to leave before you get hurt more, he doesnt sound like a keeper.

I would dump him. What else has he lied about that you just have not found out yet? He is a liar and he is untrustworthy.

He was probably afraid to lose you. Tell him you're not accepting anymore lies so to come clean with all right now.

Then give him another chance - especially if you have children.

You could get counseling.

Joy to you!

if he lied about being married to another, you are not legally married... when you file for your marraige license, you have to state any previous marraiges, and have to provide proof of the divorce! or your marraige is not valid! oh boy...
