To the men---how many of you (poor and rich) as a child had cars as a toy?

Hello. I had a lot of Matchbox cars and some Tonka trucks. This was just a gift that was given to boys in my generation.We played with them in the sandbox and blew them up with fireworks when we got older.
I personally don't have an overt love for automobiles or construction equipment today, though. (too much lost $$$$!)
It's just the way things were when I was a boy- Girls got Barbies, boys got cars.

I had many, many toy cars and used to assemble many model cars kits as well.
