Well 2007 was not the best year of my life it started off rather great with a new job in January then in march it sort of hit the toilet I had a heart attack at 43 and ended up going through a triple by pass and 2 collapsed lungs and spent almost a month and a 1/2 in the hospital.
But thank God I'm still hear to tell you this story.
I hope 2008 will be mush less agravating.
We just never know what life will throw us from year to year.
To all who reads this letter rember love all you are close to and charish the time you have with friends hug you kids dayly.
You can never know when you will take that last breth.

Yeah, I never saw 2007 coming in 2006.
A lot of MAJOR things happened this year, including my first kiss, even though I'm a 25 year-old man, LOL. I'm a loser! Still, it was all a coincidence, and I have learned in my life that just because one year is great, that doesn't mean that every year after it will outdo it.
It is weird to think that life can be like that, but it can. Just like a rock star who is famous one year and a nobody the next, a person's life can be eventful one year and totally lifeless the next... I'm hoping that that's not what happens in 2008, but a new calendar doesn't guarantee a new life....
Of course, when I was in Seattle watching fireworks shoot off the Space Needle, with three friends, smoking cigarettes for the first time ever, in Seattle for New Year's for the first time ever, I didn't know that that was signifiying a year like no other in my life, but it was. Now, though, everything has winded down, and the year ain't even over! I lost most of my friends through either distance or differences, and I know that the rest of the year is going to be boring, but I hope for 2008!

For me yes 2007 has been a great year as 2007 saw the birth of my beautiful daughter and my son starting nursery. I love spending time with them and being a family. Although we have had our stresses and strains particularly my husbands job - he hates it and is trying hard to get a new one but so far no luck.
My hopes for 2008 - financial security, health and happiness. That my husband can be happy in his work and that when my son starts school in September he enjoys it.

Not bad. I bought a house with my bf and have been a much better person this year than in previous years. Better than last year anyway. 2006 was awful. I broke up with my bf, moved to London, met some terrible people, moved back home and got back together with my bf. Since then its been plain sailing. Anyone who says things don't work out second time round were wrong. Things are better now than they ever have been. Just hope 2008 is better. Hope it all goes well for you to x

Pinkribbon,
2007 Ain't been bad. I'm an only child and have spent a lot of my life rushing around doing "man stuff" and seem to have missed out on the relationship side for a lot of the time.
As I've matured I've changed a lot and have spent the last 6 years really working on the "Friends & Family " thing.
Now as Christmas approaches, I'm involved in more social stuff than ever; and looking forward to a really hectic "social" Christmas.
See yorl out there Partyin' !!!!

No, it's been one of the worst on record, it's been an emotional wringer of a year, so much so, that I've started going grey! OK I'm 40, but my mum didn't start until after 60!
So any improvement in 2008 would be most welcome.

bit of a mixed year. on the negative side, i've had some problems with my health, on the plus side, i've got my little son, and he seems to be enjoying his new primary school, so as long as he's happy, i'm ok.
not sure what to expect from 2008. i try not to think about it too much. i'll cope with each day as it comes along.
