Well it could of been worse. If you mother spelt Dorcas backwards and gave you that name instead you would be known as Sacrod.
You know you can always change your name if you don't like it.
I have to be honest I don't think Dorcas is a cool name.

Do friends call you Dork for short? As long as you're comfortable with your name that's all that matters in my opinion. At least you don't have a common name like Bob which happens to be my name. Every time I hear someone call out the name Bob 3 people respond at the same time.
