This is actually a question someone just asked me when I asked why we should rely on the bible to tell us what is right and wrong. What is wrong with this question?

it is faithless, nothing is wrong with it.

then again what is right and wrong anyhow, is it not only personal opinion?

I don't believe we are puppets, we have free will, I do believe in the Bible, Love thy neighbor as thyself sounds good to me. The Bible is a guide that if you live by it you will have very little problems if any. You can't say that about much this day and time. I try and read a litte bit of the Bible everyday. It keeps me grounded and in control of myself, It reminds me of what God expects our us humans on this planet. Sometimes I fell but I get back up and try again, the Bible does give 2nd chances. Jesus forgives!!!

what is wrong with it is that whoever asked it clearly doesn't believe we are capable on our own to direct our lives. they believe that we are basically "puppets" of God or some other higher being - we should rely on some outside force to guide us, else we have no direction.
