how can i upload songs in ipod without removing existing songs?

my itunes library isnt sync with ipod n its requesting for automatic sync thus removin existing songs. I tried manual sync but not able to do that.. checked in help menu n it instructs to set in summary tab for manually sync.. but i m not able to locate summary tab or summary pane

All I can think of is to download all the songs from your iPod to your computer, that way you KNOW you'll get all your songs. Here's a website that tells you how to do that:

It's pretty easy, took me like 15 minutes to get my 600 songs onto my computer. When you're done, just open iTunes and click View > Show duplicates, and right-click/delete any songs that are on there twice.
