when you get older, and after trying all the drugs and alchohol, you'll just find that you wasted a lot of precious time. you might have a few tats, a cigarrette habit and maybe even a drinking problem. you'll find that your relationships didn't have to be disasters, not to mention the child support, and that your career, if you have one, has gone nowhere, really. but you might have a few good stories to tell though,of course, when you tell them you might notice that nobody really cares. if your young and think you've got something to prove to the world, you might want to try another route, cause that road has been driven many times before...and it leads to nowhere.

Smart Joe, I like you, you've made it to that point. My parents were alchies, gave me somewhat restritive up-bring, mixed with some laze'-far techniques with drug use. Ether way, I watched them party most of my life, didn't take tell I was about 18 that I learned what your talking about here, but I also had a small problem that help'd. I loved talking about other peoples problems, so I've heard it all, before I experienced any of it, and learn from them what you said. But the fact is this runs deeper then just being a stupid choice. Shoot it's not even fair for us to even say that. The fact is people need to "socially" survive in our society, and the fact is, its easier as a drug-user then a non-drug-user, to make friends, to meet people, and feel worthy. So its really much bigger then personal choice, its a social problem. The only reason I got past it, is that I got pride from fight it, most people are not that way, its natural to comform (Sad that our society NOW comforming does mean drug use, espacially in high-school) to the expectations of society. But now you have to be non-comformed in-order to live a health life, a bad catch-22, but I'm on here doing what I can to fight it, glad to see you doing the same.....
