I've done better than employee of the month after I helped win a $4 billion 2-year contract. Twenty people, including myself, were commended with the company's highest award, in competition against all of the company's 150,000 employees.

Heh, yeah, but it was rather in jest, since the company (actually a well-known software developer for the broadcasting industry) I was working only had like maybe six employees :-D

I was the IT administrator, fix-it guy, and beta tester - the latter was my official title.

Haha Lots of times! At each job, too! I was always surprised, but I made sure I popped my collar before getting up to accept the award. Lol (I work hard and was always deserving!)

Yes, and this is the first year that I haven't been. I'm kind of disappointed... I was nominated though... Sometimes I think it's a "kiss of death award", but so far I've proved them wrong!

Yes and I got a coffee mug for it. It was funny because you could not even put in the microwave to heat it up because it had gold plating on it.
