I am a Post Graduate. During the interviews, I was asked "What is your ambition". How I should answer to this question.

I am a Post Graduate???? in what field?

What is your ambition?? to become King of the company, theow us a bone - give us something to work with here.
You a nurse? a writer a doctor, a Indian Chief?

Tell them you want to be boss in 2 years.

Ambition is to make the best use of my abilities/talents to the good of me, my organisation and society all put together.'To grow to my full stature with what all I am capable of without hurting the interest of my family or society and if possible take all along with me in the growth mode' would be another way of saying the same!

U should answer that you want be a successful man in the field you desire. You should say that u should become an idol for others by ur performance.

Tell them wat u wld want to achieve or be in the next few years eg, I would like to see myself as the manager of the whole marktetin division, with my promotion being based on my abilities and commitment........ something like that.
It will show them that u have the drive and enthusiasm for self development.

rasheed it mainly depends who is the interviewer.

if he is a teacher he likes idealistic answer.
if he is a corporate he likes pragmatic answer.
if he is a philosopher he likes a philosophic answer.

it is he who is going to decide the quality and competence of your answer.

tell them what you want to become. what your true desire is and how this job or promotion will lead to that.
e.g I picture myself in a big black chair being a boss of.........company.this will tell them you really want that jop or promotion.
