My problem is the field I want to pursue is to be a veterinary techician and I fail the math 20 class that is required to get into the 2 year program. I've failed the class twice. Should I keep trying? Or is it too late for me?

It is never too late to follow your dreams. Go for it! Ask a tutor to help you get through the class. You CAN DO IT!

Best wishes.

It's not too late for you, but you need to get some math tutoring before taking that class again. If you can get someone to help you with the subject, then you can do better I'm sure! Best of luck

It's never too late, but you need to be realistic in your approach. Take a math assessment test to find where you're deficient. Talk to your adviser about where extra help is available--usually study skills, tutors, etc., talk to your teacher about any difficulties you're having--teachers usually are willing to help if asked, and it lets them know you're trying. Make sure you go to class. If you have a special need, get the appropriate help--some folks have a learning disability that was never diagnosed until they get to college, then it was and they got help to keep the playing field level. Good luck.

You need to brush up on that math. Does the school you want to go to have a math lab or remedial class you can take to prepare for the one you need? There are on-line math tutorials, too. Just get that done before you think of taking that test again. Study enough and work through enough math that you are ahead.

Don't give up!

Most if not all JC's offer free tutoring to their students. (this includes math). Or if that doesnt work for some reason, there is a plethora of tutors on craigslist.
