Yes, if you are under 13 you don't need to worry about all that stuff now! Heck you don't always need to wear makeup, in college you can always spot freshmen because they still wear makeup and dress up like they are still in middle school. And dying your hair, it isn't really good for you. I mean its up to you if it makes you feel better about yourself then do it, more power too you, but I am sure you would look very nice without all that stuff and you should be comfortable enough with who you to not worry so much about what you look like.

Honey, if you have to ask, you are. Look, this may seem odd to you but take an old Grandpa's advice. Childhood only lasts about 17 years. The last four are a time transition or sort of half and half. That leaves about 83 long years of adulthood. Don't rush through your childhood. Enjoy each phase of life while you can. There is no going back, no "do over".
You are now in the transition phase. Take your time. There is much more to this phase than puberty and other physical changes. You need to also start preparing your mind for adulthood as well.
Instead of dying your hair or worrying about make up spend time thinking about how adults differ from children. For instance, children often do dopey or dangerous things that result in unwanted situations. They then profusely apologize and lament that they did not mean for that to happen. Adults take the time to think about the consequences of there actions beforehand. Whereas a child might pick up a baseball, hit it with a bat and then cry that he did not mean to break a window, an adult will pick up the bat and ball, look around and decide that this is not a good place to hit a baseball and take it to the park or simply not hit it at all.
Most young people worry about the outside way too much and fail to work on the inside. Take your time. Do not make rash decisions. Do not do things you would not do if your parents were looking. Do not fold to peer pressure. Realize that the others in your peer group are not more knowledgeable or superior to you. Their opinions may or may not be important. Their suggestions may or may not have your best interests in mind.
Do the right thing because it is the right thing. Stay away from booze and drugs. They only detract from you they add nothing. Do not dress like a slut. (if there is no meat for sale, take the sign down). You are now at the point where you need to start being responsible for yourself a little bit more each day.
Good luck!

You didnt say how old you were, however, when I was a teen I too matured a lot faster than others in my age group. I found that the others were jealous and envious and they really hurt my feelings. However, no matter how big your boobs, or how much makeup you wear, if you keep yourself where your supposed to be (ie, in your age group), you should be fine. To many girls are growing up to fast now a days and that dont mean "big boobs" that means having babies, etc., instead of enjoying life the way they should be. There are a lot of ways to enjoy life besides boys and sex. So dont worry about your maturing too fast as long as you keep a good head on your shoulders. Good luck!

Don't worry. Everybody matures at different rates. When my girlfriend was 10 years old, she was having her period and had B-cups. NO LIE.
Key to make up: put on the right amount so it brings out your features, but not so much. The key to make up is to make it look like you are not wearing any at all. A little to much eye shadow and lipstick and you look like a middle school hooker.
Watch the guys you date. You are gonna get a lot of attention, especially if you have a pretty face too. Most guys are prick who just want sex. Some guys actually will care about you; look for one of those.

okay, okay, first off it's not very nice to say that you are "More Mature" than your friends if your body is maturing faster than their's. And just because u dyed ur hair and wear makeup doesn't exactly mean ur more mature, I was allowed to wear makeup before I was born! (just kidding.) Okay, so you may be cooler than them but are u really more "mature"? Do they act mature? If they are immature than that's okay, everyone has immature friends. Besides, they may start maturing soon. I have this friend who started maturing when she was ten or something, and my other friend didn't start until she was fourteen and she STILL dosen't have many curves. So there's your advice, hope u find it useful, and plz don't be offended by anything I might have written, just answering ur question. Good luck in life Ms.Maturity!

If you are 5 years old - yes your going too fast.
If you are 55, don't worry darling your boobs are fighting to get to your waistline.
Or perhaps it's a case of making new friends with more mature people.
If you are looking for answers make sure the question is asked properly first.

I started my period at 11 & had bigger boobs than everyone else, big deal, enjoy it. I didn't wear make up & die my hair though (in fact you weren't allowed to at my school & no one wanted to anyway, they would have thought you were arrogant to be trying to stand out that way). Probably a whole different ballgame now though.

No your just trendy and self absorbed... I suggest a hobby that allows you to develope as a person, something that will build character and give you a sense of worth in yourself not just your looks.
Why aren't you asking about scholarship applications or study tips? You are better than your boobs, your hair and your makeup.

I agree it all depends on how old you are. However you should also think about a few things. The sign of maturity is shown by taking criticism well, admitting when you are wrong and learning from your mistakes not by your hair color, breast size or vertical supremacy.

OIC you are not talking mature, you are talking about developing faster.
OK so you are.... I had a friend like this. She did not have a good time. Boys were always trying to get her cloths off and older guys were always hitting on her.
Just be careful, to bad you have to learn earlier then your friends but with some brains you will get through it.
